Happy Labor Day, everyone!
Labor Day is a day meant to celebrate laborers, the workers, the people who keep the country going. In the US, Labor Day is celebrated on the first Monday of September. The generally-accepted origin of Labor Day is that it was a day proposed by trade unionists to celebrate the growing labor movements in the 19th century. Oregon would be the first US state to celebrate Labor Day as a public holiday. It would become a federal holiday in 1894. It's also considered the end of the summer in a way.
Hope this was a good day for you!
