Ahhhh, Dotemu. I enjoy their games. Shredder's Revenge, Streets of Rage 4, their port of Windjammers, they do quality work.
"Is that the best you can do?" is one of the phrases someone says before they end up experiencing new levels...of pain.
I like the nod to one of the original game's cutscenes.
Ryu: Okay Kenji, I'm going to America because my dad wants me to in his will. Meet up with a bud of his. Hopefully, there won't be a buttload of demons causing problems. Watch the village. Don't screw it up.

I'd so watch a Ninja Gaiden animated series like this.
Ooh, gameplay footage! It's nice seeing the series return to its 2D action-platformer roots. And the looks amazing.
