Happy St. Patrick's Day!
What is St. Patrick's Day? Well, it's celebrated every March 17. It's meant to commemorate the death of St. Patrick, one of Ireland's foremost patron saints. He also is the patron saint of Boston, engineers, and paralegals. No joke. It's also use to celebrate the arrival of Christianity to Ireland.
The day is one of the most celebrated national festivals in the world. Many major cities in the US, especially ones famous for Irish populations like Boston and New York City, observe with parades, dying rivers green, and drinking Irish alcohol. Not to mention the showing of shamrocks and the wearing of green.
Hope your St. Patrick's Day was a good one!
