Happy World Snow Day!
This day was founded by the International Ski Federation, the international governing body for snow sports like snowboarding and of course, skiing.
This day was first celebrated in 2012 and is celebrated on the third Sunday of January every year. The purpose of it is to promote snow sports, especially for children. The holiday is about growing the next generation of winter sportspeople, as well as a way for families to build memories and moments of joy. And that's pretty much it for this day.
