Avengers: Doomsday Teaser #3, My Thoughts

Last month, I looked at two teasers for the upcoming 39th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Avengers: Doomsday. The first teaser focused on Steve Rogers, and the second focused on Thor. And now a new trailer has come about, focused on the X-Men. Let's take a look!

Man, the Xavier's Institute has seen better days.

I'm guessing Xavier isn't paying the cleaning staff anymore, and they went on strike. Can't blame them. If you work, you should get paid.

"Death comes for us all." Well, isn't Magneto cheerful today?

It's nice to see that after all the craziness, both Charles and Max/Erik can enjoy a nice game of chess.

Yeah, this is why people ship you two.

Oh, Cyclops stepped on a Lego again. But seriously, it's cool to see a live-action Cyclops in the old-school blue-and-yellow Jim Lee costume.

Those large feet stomping behind Cyclops. Could those be Sentinels? That would make sense. I mean, Sentinels are a regular nuisance in the X-Men's lives, and they tend to be portrayed as very big robots, so...yeah.

Well, this was an interesting teaser. We get the idea that the X-Men are not in a great place. Which seems to be a regular thing for them. But it's not surprising. When you do such a bad job at promoting human-mutant peace that people end up hating and fearing mutants even more...yeah. You're going to end up in a bad place. But I am excited to see what happens to what remains of the Merry Mutants in this movie. Thanks for reading this blog entry! If you liked it, show it off! Take care of yourselves and each other! See you next time!
