NWA Powerrr Episode 10, My Thoughts

It's time again to feel the Powerrr, with another episode of NWA Powerrr! Their first PPV since the show has begun, Into the Fire, has come and gone. Now we're going to see the fallout of it! We're going to be spoiling the show, so I recommend you watch it first.

Huh. I have heard of Marty Scurll, but never saw him before.

Every title reigns at some point, Mr. Aldis. And the Villain is determined to be that man.

Stu Bennett is already better to listen to than Jim Cornette.

New National Champion Aron Stevens, and that belt is still ugly.

I doubt that Aron is the dangerous one. After all, The Question Mark will always be the master of Kaaa-ra-TAYYYYYY!

Ehhh, there's only one shooter, Aron.

I'm guessing that Colt Cabana wants the title back. Can we get it redesigned first?

They're brining back the NWA TV title? Why? They're not on TV!

So, every match in this title tournament will be 6 minutes, 5 seconds or less, huh? Is this how every TV Title defense will go? Will it be defended on every episode of Powerrr?

Match #1 - TV Title Tournament Match (Sal Rinauro vs. Zicky Dice vs. CW Anderson)

You may know CW Anderson from the old ECW days. I like Sal Rinauro's tights.

What kind of name is Zicky Dice? That sounds like a ring name you come up with on barbiturates.

Zicky Dice is disgusted with the showing of respect.

Anderson a bit slow to break it up.

Winner: Zicky Dice

Bit awkward, but good match.

The Dawsons disagree with your presence, sir.

"Where's our money, Wild Cards?!"

Marty Scurll doing the Eric Cartman thing.

I imagine they had to tell Eddie Kingston several times to not curse before putting on the headset.

If ANYONE on this show deserves theme music, it's the Rock 'n' Roll Express.

Match #2 - NWA Tag Team Champions Rock 'n' Roll Express vs. Zach Mosley/Sean Sims

Fun tag brawl, nice touch with the Cards attacking Dawson's hand.

Zicky Dice! Ricky Starks! Colt Cabana! Trevor Murdoch! Thom Latimer! The Question Mark! Eddie Kingston! Tim Storm! The Dawsons! And...Nick Aldis?! Yup, these are your TV Title tournament participants!

Hey, Nikita Koloff! And he's going to help determine the matches for this tournament by draw. And they are...

Starks vs. Kingston!

Cabana vs. Question Mark! We'll see these two matches next episode!

So, Aldis wants a challenge, huh? And he wants to make a little history! And I agree with him, the TV belt is nice. Better looking than the National belt.

Mmm, ham sandwiches...

So, Aldis feels he's not being appreciated for all the work he's done as champion. That's what I'm getting out of this. And the Kamille button's been pressed. And who is Aldis going to get for his insurance policy now that he's ditched Kamille?

Match #3 - Eli Drake vs. Ken Anderson (No DQ match)

Nice to have Tim Storm join us on commentary.

Oh God, that was funny! Eli was like "Really? Use something with my own pretty face as a weapon against me? Really?" That was great.

"Hey Ken, you mind me taking a selfie of you beating you stupid? Thanks, pal!"

Ken needs to take a seat. He's been on his feet all day.

Silly Ken, that's not how you use a chair!

Winner: Eli Drake

This was the best match of the show. It was a lot of fun.

Aldis and Storm arguing over game consoles. Aldis is a Nintendo man, Storm is PlayStation 4 Life. :P

And now KAMILLE is getting in Aldis's face!

Well, that show ended with a shocker, didn't it? I can't wait for next week! This was a great show! I wish they could have fit in a women's match, though. Ah, well. At least we got some stuff with the Melina and her Lethal Latina squad. That's what I call them. And the whole thing with Marti Belle could be used for some fracturing in the future. I thought the most fun match was Anderson vs. Drake, because of Eli's selfie silliness. This was a great episode, I really enjoyed it.
