Super Mario Party Trailer, My Thoughts

In 1998, Hudson Soft and Nintendo released the game Mario Party for the Nintendo 64. The party game which features many minigames (and Mario characters to play them). The game was well-received, but was criticized for a lack of multiplayer. Despite this, the game was a success, which led to it becoming a franchise in its own right, with the latest release being the spin-off Mario Party: The Top 100 for the 3DS. The franchise has sold nearly 40 million units, so it makes sense the franchise would come to the Switch. But the Switch game is going to be bigger! Gonna be better! Gonna be...Super. Let's take a look at the trailer for Nd Cube and Nintendo's Super Mario Party!

We got some people getting ready for some multiplayer fun. Games like Mario Party really are at their best when they're multiplayer.

All the players are like, "Yeah, I'm totally gonna wreck these clowns."

You can bring two Switches together to make a bigger game board? That is awesome. I wonder if the position the Switches are in will affect the minigames.

Shell tanks. I love this game already. Gotta be cool under fire and have a quick trigger finger to win this one!

Ah, camping. The perfect time to become one with nature by...playing video games outside.

AND IT'S A HOME RUN, HARRY!

Heh heh, Bowser homaging Indiana Jones.

Some of those minigames look like they are tons of fun. The Chargin' Chuck one stood out to me.

I wonder how you win that camera minigame. Do you get the best pose you can make?

Huh. Frying meat is a minigame. I'm guessing it's a Japan thing.

That submarine one has to be a nod to Super Mario Land for the original Game Boy. That was one of my favorite games for it.

That Goomba on the tricycle looked half-dead. Needs to work on the cardio.

Well, this game sounds like a lot of fun if you have some friends you like to play with.
